Connection Issues with Amazon Web Services

Users have been reporting on Downdetector that they are having connection problems with Amazon Web Services since 14:00 CST, the problems that they are having are intermittent DNS resolution errors with Route 53 & Amazon’s external DNS providers, at 15:06 CTS the Twitter account of Amazon Web Services Support confirmed the report of the users.
Most parts of the reports are coming from the United States, specifically from the cities of New York, Chicago, Minneapolis, Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle, also there are some reports from Europe, the majority are localized on Dublin and The Netherlands, additionally there are reports from Singapore, Auckland (New Zealand) and Sao Paulo (Brazil).
Amazon Web Services is an on-demand cloud computing platform that is already broadly adopted worldwide, they provide service to customers all sizes, including large enterprises like Netflix, Expedia, Dow Jones or Adobe and government agencies, you can consider Amazon Web Services as one of the fundamental pieces that powers the internet.
